Unable to play Multiplayer

I (IDK if it is universal) am unable to connect to any multiplayer games. It may be a Chromebook bug, yet I only have one Chromebook to test it on. I can still play multiplayer on my Nintendo Switch, yet I want to upload some mods that I can only add on my Chromebook. Please fix the bug, Mojang. I have no mod for a bug fix. If anyone has a way to fix it, please reply if you can. IDK if it is possible to reply though.

 

Pictures show my skin(usually a custom Herobrine) is now the default Steve with Steve's original shoes. I also cannot join any of the dedicated servers or any of my friend's worlds.
