Sometimes if a skeleton shot a zombie accidentally, the zombie is still hostile towards me

One time, when I went outside to kill skeletons and gather some bones, a skeleton shot a zombie accidentally. Normally, the zombie should attack back, but that time, the zombie was still fighting me.
