Redstone Doesn't Update Textures

The textures and positions of redstone components doesn't always update. For example, a signal could reach an iron door and open it, but the door itself still looks like it's closed. I've seen this happen to multiple redstone components, but what I've seen more often than not is it fails to show the off position. It still looks like it''s on.
