Items disappeared after game crashed

When I was playing the game, it suddenly crashed. It happened quite a lot but nothing bad happened so far so I didn't pay too much attention to it. But this time the game crashed, and my irons disappeared.

I was about to craft something then the game crashed. When I reopened the game, my irons disappeared. Please try and figure out the problem.
