Login trouble, won't update on the homepage for the Switch.

I've been logging into Minecraft on my Nintendo Switch, and everything seems to go through successfully, but nothing will update on the Minecraft homepage. Meaning that I complete the login, and it says that it was successful, but my username/ gamertag doesn't show up in the bottom lefthand corner like it's supposed to. My character creation won't update either.

I have a bunch of downloaded content, mostly all free character creation items, which were all downloaded to my account, and I don't want to loose everything I have on there, because a lot of the items I won't be able to get again.

So I feel like this is definitely a bug of some sorts, because the Minecraft homepage won't update. And normally my account auto-connects as well, but it doesn't do that either.
