Control placement on Minecraft mobile

The new controls are off centered and way too big, when I attempt to move them in the settings they just go back to how they were before whenever I click “done”
They used to be better before I just don’t understand why they were changed
It’s gotten to the point me and my friends can barely play the game
I just wish that it stayed the way it was because it wasn’t broken and didn’t need to be fixed, or at least wait until it’s not completely buggy to change the buttons
