Free cape glitch (visible to anyone)

There is a cape glitch that has been going for over a year now and still works, it allows the player to hack into the game files, and change the persona file which contains the skinpacks, 

How to reproduce 

You first have to download a custom persona file on the internet, than you wanna add your desired skin into the persona file you just downloaded, now the glitch activates once you add you're desired cape into the persona file, then you remove the original minecraft persona file and add the one you installed as a replacement, you join minecraft and you go to dressing room and then click on classic skins, the skin will be merged with the cape. Its also visible to everyone making it look like its an official minecraft cape. If you can patch I'd highly appreciate, thanks!
