can't update to latest bedrock version

When I try to update minecraft from 1.20.62 to 1.20.71 from the microsoft store, it doesn't show that Minecraft needs to be updated. I get Minecraft Preview updates, but not regular Minecraft updates. It only works for some devices, as I know other people who have gotten the update.
