World Crash with version 0.16.1

Affects version 0.16.1 (which I could not select in the bug options because it wasn't there, so I had to enter 'future release'). This is the same issue as MCPE-17695. I reported on there too. My son is playing on a Samsung Galaxy Tab S Tablet. His world will not open. He gets the 'generating world' screen, then it says 'unfortunately, Minecraft has stopped working'.
