Minecraft app closes at random times during gameplay

Ever since the new update 1.20.71, my Minecraft app keeps closing during my gameplay. I play on iPadOS 17.4.  This has happened 6 times today. My iPad app is up to date. This is getting very annoying. My iPad is strictly to play Minecraft. No photos, songs, emails etc on it.
