skins loading bug

when loading into minecraft, my skin associated with my account doesn't load, instead loading a default skin (steve or alex) and when trying to change to my skin the skin menu gets stuck in an infinite loading screen, the only workaround is to reinstall the entire game everytime i want to play minecraft.
