Villager Problem

I was making an iron farm. I put some villagers in the villager cell, gave them food and left the area. After some time when I came back, the two original villagers seemed to have taken up a job even though there were no job sites nearby. And also, I could not interact with them. I really don't know how to recreate but please fix this.
