Droid 2 and Droid 3 on different MPE versions after update

My sons each have my old Droids, a Droid2 and a Droid3. They used to be able to play together in the same world, but now that the new patch came out they cannot. On the Droid2 I UN-installed and re-installed Minecraft PE, but it is still stuck on version 0.5.0 and the Droid3 is on 0.6.1 - is there anyway to roll back the update on the Droid3 or will the Droid2 get 0.6.1 also? This is a real bummer. The error message they get when trying to connect together is: "COULD NOT CONNECT: OUTDATED SERVER"
