New cartographer taiga map not working

Bought a Taiga map from a swamp cartographer. Followed map and it was a snowy village, not a taiga village. Bought a Taiga map from the snowy cartographer, gave me a map of the current village I was standing in. Seems to be no way to actually get a correct taiga map.
