Locating server loop with friend in other continent

Hello, I've been having a problem and I can't join to my friends worlds in other continent (I live in Spain and he lives in Mexico) I play on Pc and he plays in Nintendo Switch, we had this problem the past two years and I get in an infinite loop with Locating server. But he can join my worlds, I would be very grateful if someone can solve it.
