The ping on a server prevents me from joining it

when the ping is 100+ on a server it stop me from joining it and it says disconnected from server

Observed Results:
It says disconnected from server and wont let me play the server this has been happening for a while

Expected results:

it should tell me if I should join or not because of the ping
