I seem to have died due to a bug while flying for my first time in the end dimension.

I'm not entirely sure what happened. I climbed on of the obsidian towers, jumped of and began gliding while in the end dimension in hopes of finding more end cities. I made it less than a minute. Nothing seemed to be rendering ahead of me so I attempted to turn around and fly back. Suddenly, I was taking massive damage for a few ticks. Then I died and got the message that I fell into the void. I feel like I was too high up for that to be real... I just don't know. I'm hoping you can investigate for me and possibly get my items back? I was wearing netherite armor and it is disappointing to lose it. If the error was actually mine, I can suck it up. but if it's a bug... well that not cool.
