Minecraft PE freezes and crashes after I downloaded a texture pack and add-on

I Downloaded the add-on called "PC GUI" and the texture pack "Xenocontendi PE [16×16]" off of the website Mcpedl.com and activated them in the global resources bar in settings off of the start screen. I soon went to go try to see other texture packs, and when I came back to reload Minecraft Pocket Edition, I had the Mojang title screen for 10-15 seconds, "much longer than usual" and it crashed, kicking me out. I have restarted my iPad mini 2
multiple times, and tried to delete the app by holding the home button at the bottom of my tablet, and it won't delete it. I have even gone into settings to try to delete it, and it just won't go. I expected to play a different experience of visuals, but I can't get past the loading screen.
