Jigsaw block issue

For some odd reason in Minecraft, bedrock edition the jigsaw block can’t actually generate structures. If I am wrong, please tell me I have looked up tutorials and search the web, but it seems like there’s no actual way to generate structures from the jigsaw block if this is not a bug, I would assume it’s intentional, but I figure I reported just in case. Again if there is a way whether it’s  making a mod pack or some alternate way, please tell me
