Subject: Lost Items Due to Nether Bug

Dear Minecraft Bedrock Developers,

I am writing to express a grievance that has been quite distressing for me. I recently returned to the game after a two-year hiatus in 2024, only to find my world significantly progressed. Despite this, I decided to continue playing, as my world held valuable items. When I ventured into the Nether to explore, I encountered a bug that resulted in my untimely demise, causing me to lose all the items I had worked hard to obtain.

It appears that I was teleporting into blocks, which was not an issue previously, as I already had a functioning portal. It took a considerable amount of time for this bug to be fixed, but by then, I had lost all my belongings. This experience has left me so frustrated that I am contemplating discontinuing my gameplay. Is there any chance of a backup or a restoration of my lost items? It seems unjust to lose everything due to a game glitch.

If possible, I would greatly appreciate either a backup restore or the ability to return to a saved point before entering the Nether. Your assistance in resolving this matter would mean a lot to me. I invested a significant amount of time in building my inventory, and losing it in this manner is truly disheartening.
