Can’t equip achievement character features

I am unable to equip the achievements that unlock certain character features. For example, there is an achievement that unlocks a cat headwear for my character. However, the equip button does not show up but just the view achievement button. This issue is occurring for all the achievements that unlock features for the character such as skins, headwear, facial features like beards, etc.
