Need a Mint achievement received through crafting Glistering Melon

We received the Need a Mint achievement by crafting a glistening melon. I'm sure both of us have actually done it but never got the achievement. But I have crafted the g melons before and this didn't happen. I made the ticket private because it could be considered cheating if it works for people that never actually did it.

Craft a glistening melon in 1.20.50 and wait.

Happens for both android (host) and Xbox. Unaware if it is happening on anything else.
