Life does not recover even with a full hunger bar

Hello, I'm having a problem in my world, my life is not recovering even with the hunger bar full.  It's been a really annoying mistake, since I have to die several times to get my life bar full again. Note: this is only happening in my survival world, I created other worlds to test, and they were normal.
