Trimmed Armor textures break upon reloading the game from background

The textures for Trimmed Armors do not load when switching back to Minecraft after leaving it to run in the background. First screenshot is before, and second one is after.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Apply a trim to a piece of armor
2. Equip the trimmed armor
3. Swipe from the left or right of your screen to bring up the 3-button navigation bar
4. Tap the square button
5. Reopen Minecraft
6. Look at the trimmed armor

Observed Results:
The trimmed armor appears black and pink.

Expected Results:
The trimmed armor should render correctly.
