Game started lagging and glitching severely just today.

I'm not sure if the issues are related, but today when playing, my game started lagging a little here and there. After a few hours, suddenly both of my controllers disconnected and wouldn't reconnect even with a usb-c cord, until I unplugged the playstation and plugged it in again. Once I opened minecraft again, the news about the beta update popped up, and I opened minecraft. I was bed mining in the nether, and after I blew up my bed, I took 3 hearts of damage and fell into fire. My screen started glitching and I died instantly and couldn't even move. When I respawned, I was suffocating in a cobblestone wall despite having other places to spawn, and glitched out of it after a few seconds luckily. I lost half of my items, including 13 ancient debris, in the fire.
