Block-breaking texture on transparent blocks makes entities behind the block partially invisible

Steps to reproduce

1. Trap an entity in a 1x1 spot surrounded by transparent or partially transparent blocks like glass or several of the doors or trapdoors.
2. Give yourself mining fatigue.
3. While looking at the entity, start mining one of the blocks.

Expected result

You see the entity just as much while mining as when not mining.

Observed result

The parts of the entity that should be seen through the block-breaking texture become invisible. Bye Buddy.mp4
