Xp orbs slide away when fishing/ killing mobs/ trading

XP orbs randomly slide away from players range that i have to go collect them, i lose 2 out of 3 XP orbs when fishing as they seems like they hit player and ricochet away, sometimes i lose it as they fall into lava or too far. the xp absorb distance range seems too small now
