The Achievement, 'Country Lode, take me home', won't activate.

Despite requirements being met, we cannot get the achievement to activate. I'm playing on bedrock, survival, no cheats enabled, with my mother. Neither of us can get the achievement, we've used the lodestone compass and the lodestone in both the overworld and the nether.
