Chat text box doesn’t fully close when tap keyboard down button

Steps to Reproduce:

1. open chat and tap the text box
2. tap the bottom right [keyboard down] button
3. tap anywhere

Observed Results:
The [keyboard down] button only closes the keyboard,
and fully closing the text box requires an additional tap

Expected Results:
Both would close from the [keyboard down] button
