I can't press on anything when I load up the game. It runs like normal but I can't press anything

I am currently using the Xbox one series s. Every time I load up the game it loads up fine and works how minecraft should work but I physically can not press anything it allows me to move my joysticks around to hover over (play, Marketplace and settings) but I can't press on anything
