crash on menu screen

I just installed the update a few minutes ago and every time I open the app it gets as far as the menu screen and then when it doesn't crash immediately it crashes as soon as I press a button at first I thought it was a conflict of some kind with another app that kept crashingat the ssame time so I disabled the other app but that didn't help
Steps to recreate
1. Open app
2. Wait for menu to load
3. If it doesn't crash press a bit yob
I am going to try removing the com.mojang folder and if that works I will add things back slowly to locate the problem
