Items in Hotbar Appear Deformed When GUI Scale is set to Smallest

Steps to reproduce:

1) Play Minecraft Windows 10 Edition, Size the window so it is around 1920x1080.

2) Set the GUI Scale within Video Settings to the smallest available option

3) Exit out of settings and look at the hotbar.

This does NOT affect the inventory view; only the hotbar when the inventory is not being viewed. The screenshot attached shows the problem – pay special attention to how the sword and pickaxe appear.
