The game frames drop when crafting or chucking blocks

While playing split screen the game will lag or a sec when crafting or chucking items to the ground. Meaning while one player is fighting mobs the other player crafts the game's frames will drop which messes up the other player this only happens while crafting, chucking or just opening the inventory. It would be very appreciated if you look into this thank you.
