Minecraft world delayed and being slow

My no cheats survival world is being incredibly slow. Mobs are moving in slow motion, door sound effects are super delayed, chests and crafting stations take a long time to open, food takes a SUPER long time to eat, pets take a long time to sit up and sit down, and so much more. I've tried so many things but the issue still persists. How can I fix this?
