No fall damage when landing on boat in water

So you may know that Fall on boat on Water breaks your legs, which is fine, however I have been discovered something strange something that you can take no fall damage without Riding anywhere else, it only happens on water or something anything else

1. Break a 5x5 | Make sure that you can go deeper as you go
2. Filled up with water
3. Place boats on pool of water | you can place any boat if you want to
4. Once is done, make sure to fall off on Any height | you can use /tp ~₁₀₀ to teleport you into a height, if your in survival, you can build on height

That way it can Cause a Boat to take you No fall damage, it's quite useful for escaping your opponents, if you want to see a proof, here it is
