Powdered snow no longer negates fall damage as of 1.20.30

As someone would with a water bucket I usually catch myself by placing powdered snow as I reach the ground. You could imagine my surprise when I placed it and died on impact. I tested it out to make sure it wasn't user error as well as landing in the middle of a 4 x 4 x 4 cube of powdered snow all to no avail. I'm not entirely sure if this is working as intended but I really hope it's a bug.
