I can't use my controller

When I try to use an Xbox controller on my PC, it registers the controller buttons as keyboard controls. The look sensitivity is out of control and changes. Whenever I jump, it opens the chat box. The game is unplayable with a controller. I've tried removing all of the keybinds for the keyboard and that didn't work. This happened after the latest update
