Caret repositioning is not accurate

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Type any text;
2. Tap/Click in between two characters.

Observed Results:
The caret is placed on the previous character.

Expected Results:
The caret is placed on the desired location.

Notes: When the text is bold, the letters get wider but the clicking range doesn't adapt, making the caret's position much more inaccurate depending on how many bold letters there are.
