Baby Polar Bear becomes Hostile

I was in my house, when a baby polar bear came in and started attacking me. I hit it many times, and eventually killed it. I almost died. It had extra health, I'm pretty sure. This happened a few months ago, while I was playing Survival - Local Multiplayer.
