Nametag not displaying properly on game startup

On the initial startup of Minecraft: Bedrock Edition using the Minecraft Launcher, my nametag displays incorrectly. My name displays incorrectly to other players in-game as well, so it is not just a visual issue on my end. However, it usually is fixed by closing and rebooting the game.
