Barrel Recipe is not correct

The Barrel Recipe is now the Java one; WHICH IS ABSOLUTE GARBAGE. I most definitely prefer using sticks to create barrels, as it takes 6 wooden planks and 2 wooden slabs  to make a barrel in java edition, as opposed to bedrock which was 6 sticks and 2 wooden slabs. I find this 6 wooden planks and 2 wooden slabs is too similar to the chest recipe of 8 wooden planks, and honestly, there would be no further point for barrels, and is no longer so easy to create them in a pinch as you are normally given leftover slabs when making a composter. Any parity, should have gone the other way; to use 6 sticks and 2 wooden slabs.
