Items removed from inventory when using the help button

Steps to reproduce:

1. Put any item in the inventory.
2. Select the item.
3. While the item is selected, press the help button on the top right.
4. Close the help menu.

Observed results:
The items disappear.

Expected results:
The items should remain.
