Featured server CubeCraft unable to connect

I was casually playing duels with my friend but suddenly, in the middle of the duel, i got disconnected and there was a text that said "Game shutdown". I thought the server shut down the match not the entire game. Is it true? Because i was not able to join the server for 12 minutes already.
