"Abandoned connection lost" issue

Steps to Reproduce

Try to enter a realm on windows 10 (may not occur on every account, so try a good few)

Observed results

In an account that is affected by this issue, the vast majority of attempts to join a realm that is owned by the account will end in the error message of "Abandoned connection lost" appearing, despite good internet and a relatively good computer. 

Expected results

The attempt to join the realm succeeds and the player is able to log on to it

Notes

This issue is likely related to MCPE-172980, which also only started in 1.20.10 and has a similar error message, but affects Minecraft for Xbox.  I have only experienced this issue on Minecraft for PC, but have also heard of reports of a similar issue on Minecraft for Playstation and affecting attempts to join servers as opposed to realms. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game, but that did not work, and only the realm I personally own is affected by this issue.
