Unable to jump or auto-jump in any world -- 1.20.10

On my daughter's Nintendo Switch, it is no longer able to jump. It doesn't matter if buttons are swapped or even if auto-jump is enabled. The buttons work for everything else. It just will not jump for any reason. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game with a full power cycle between and the problem persists.
