Fishing Experience

It's a small, but quite annoying issue. Although I'm unsure if this is a global thing, I just began fishing in my world, and for some reason the experience, instead of automatically collecting after catching something, explodes away from my character and forces me to go and collect it myself. This is making fishing so much slower.
