[MCPE-173] no water animation -ios

i have seen many videos for the mcpe game. i have found that some games have water animations like flowing and shimmering. i have ios (ipod touch 4g,i picked iphone 4 because ipod touch wasnt in the list) but i dont have water animations. i would like to know when this will be fixed. thank you =)

True I have an ipod 4g also and think I briefly saw that difference on when my niece was playing on my sister's android phone.

Its because old devices can't handle moving water but I'm not sure try switching to fancy graphics

they should add a button for that though. it doesnt matter if it lags. it could be your choice to turn it on and deal with lag. thats what i think they should do

for ios water animation is available for ipads but not for iPods (I have an ipad and an iPod touch) I can tell the difference????

Hey I'm using an iPad 4 but I still do not have a water animation I have set it to fancy and everything please help me even on my iphone3GS and still no water animation is there a way I can resolve this because my Minecraft looks so retarted

But on my friends iPhone 4S he gets water animation and in the next update Johan and job said clouds are limited to faster devices so how is my iPad 4 not fast enough

Your phone might not be able to handle it physically. If it doesn't have a fast enough processor or something it might not be able to support the animations. Also, you said on your iPad 4, assuming your talking about the mini, that might be because it doesn't have retina, which would be Apple's fault.

No I'm not it's an iPad 4 not mini it does have retina display and it has the A6X chip and its the newest version of the iPad 4

The following devices can handle animated water without problem (iOS Devices):
-Iphone 4s,5
-iPod Touch 5 (I owned an iPod Touch 4g before i bought the iPod 5, and the 4g can´t handle the animated water because of the lower RAM and the GPU, in the iPod 5 is x7 more faster in graphics and x2 in RAM memory.
-Ipad 3,4,Mini

This will be a graphics option in the new version for devices that can handle it but that we detect as to slow by mistake.
