Mobs spawning in the floor in Dungeons & Keep spawning with several torches placed on the spawner.

Please tell me this isnt a duplicate? I Searched and 0 results. Mobs are spawning in the floor in Dungeons & keep spawning after i placed several torches in & around the dungeon. And when I died I went back and my items were gone. Probably a seperate bug? The dungeons are very bugged.
