in realms for bedrock edition my beacon does not work despite it meeting all of the conditions to work

in my minecraft bedrock edition realm my beacon does not work and yes ive put all of the mineral blocks under it and then put a mineral inside the beacon to turn a power on and clicked the green check mark and it takes away the one mineral i gave it but then it does nothing at all, i dont know if its specifically because i used emeralds or if its just broken complietly
