Severe lag when moving a single fish bucket in a chest.

When I pick up a fish bucket that I caught in a chest to move it to a different slot, the game's fps drops dramatically.

This did not happen when I moved any other item, or fish buckets that did not contain fish that I caught (creative, /give, etc).

I did search for this and found reports that used shulker boxes filled with tropical fish buckets, but this is with only one single bucket.
